SHOP TERMS OF SERVICE

Service Agreement & Performance Terms

1. Scope of Work

Shift Culture, LLC (the "Shop") agrees to perform only the services outlined in the signed Work Order or Service Estimate. Any additional labor or parts required to complete the project safely will be brought to the Customer's attention for approval before proceeding.

2. Customer-Supplied Parts

Shift Culture prefers to source all components to ensure compatibility and quality. If a customer provides their own parts:

  • The Shop provides no warranty on the fitment, function, or longevity of customer-supplied parts.
  • If a customer-supplied part is found to be defective during or after installation, the customer is responsible for all labor costs associated with the installation and removal.

3. Manufacturer Warranties on Parts We Sell

Parts we sell carry the manufacturer's warranty (terms vary by brand). The labor required to remove a defective part and install a replacement is not covered by the manufacturer and will be billed at our standard shop rate unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Any service-specific terms, including warranties on workmanship, will be documented on a per-job basis in the signed Work Order or Service Estimate before work begins.

4. Estimates & Payments

  • Estimates: All estimates are subject to change based on the condition of the vehicle (e.g., rusted bolts, previous poor repairs, or hidden damage). Any change in scope will be communicated and approved by the customer before proceeding.
  • Deposits: A non-refundable deposit may be required to book a service appointment or to special-order parts.
  • Payment: Full payment for labor and parts is due upon completion of the service. Vehicles will not be released until the invoice is paid in full.

5. Vehicle Pickup

Vehicles should be picked up promptly after notice of completion. Specific pickup windows and any associated storage arrangements will be communicated on a case-by-case basis. The Shop reserves the right to exercise a mechanic's lien on any vehicle for which the invoice remains unpaid, as permitted under applicable Florida law.

6. Liability & Vehicle Care

  • Test Driving: By leaving your vehicle for service, you authorize Shift Culture staff to operate the vehicle on public roads for testing, inspection, and delivery.
  • Loss or Damage: Shift Culture is not responsible for loss or damage to the vehicle or articles left in the vehicle in case of fire, theft, accident, or any other cause beyond our control.
  • Condition: We perform a pre-service inspection. Any pre-existing cosmetic or mechanical issues will be documented.

7. Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to a scheduled service appointment may result in the forfeiture of the service deposit.
